Think these factors through before spending your money on Sony's latest console.

Consider the total cost of a PS5, including games and accessories, which could add up to hundreds of dollars on top of the initial price.
If you still have a backlog of PS4 games to play, it may make more sense to finish those before upgrading to the PS5, which is backward-compatible and offers a fairly similar experience for PS4 titles.
Evaluate your interest in the available PS5 games, as many top titles are also available on other platforms. If you're not eager to play PS5 exclusives, you can probably wait to upgrade.
